Digital Services Act (DSA) Compliance Notice for EU Users

Snuffle is committed to providing a safe and reliable platform for pet parents and caregivers. In compliance with the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA), we have implemented measures to ensure transparency, accountability, and the protection of users when interacting with our services.

Promoting safety on Snuffle

Snuffle allows pet lovers to find and offer pet care. It is a violation of the Terms of Service to use Snuffle to post or send or post content (such as messages, photos, reviews, or profile descriptions) that is pornographic, threatening, harassing, abusive, or defamatory, contains nudity or graphic violence, incites violence, violates intellectual property rights, or violates the law or the legal rights (for example, privacy rights) of others; that is spam; that impersonates another person; or that seeks to engage in fraudulent transactions or for purposes that violate the law. For more details, please see Sections 10 and 11 of the Terms of Service.

Snuffle takes the following steps to promote a safer platform environment:

  • Snuffle reviews and approves every walker profile. As part of the review and approval process, Snuffle reviews the photos and written content on walker profiles.
  • Snuffle provides a “Report and Block” feature. Anyone on Snuffle can block or report profiles and conversations with other users and these will be reviewed by our Customer Service team.
  • Snuffle prohibits and will remove reviews that violate our Review Policy. Reviews are an important part of Snuffle and, as a general policy, we do not interfere with feedback from walkers and pet owners. However, if reported to us, we will remove reviews or responses (or portions thereof) that violate our Review Policy or the Terms of Service.
  • Snuffle users can report illegal content to our Customer Service team at any time. If you wish to report content that you believe is illegal in the EU, you can contact us via email at:
    • contact@snuffle.com
    • support@Snuffle.com

Please use the below format. Please note that not all violations of our Terms of Service amount to illegal conduct.

Using Snuffle to post content that violates our Terms of Service, or abusing this notification procedure, can lead to suspension or deactivation as set forth in Section 9 of the Terms of Service. Examples of abusing this notification procedure include repeatedly submitting duplicate notices, submitting notices that are manifestly unfounded, submitting notices in bad faith, to harass another user, or for other purposes inconsistent with our Terms of Services. If you disagree with Snuffle’s decision to take down content, you may reach out to:

Snuffle does not rely on automated tools to remove content.

Transparency on Snuffle

Starting 17 February 2024, online platforms are required to report certain information. Refer below for information about Snuffle’s EU business, last updated as of 1 April 2025:

  • Since 1 April 2025, the number of regulatory orders received from EU Member States’ authorities, categorized by the type of illegal content concerned: 0
  • Since 1 April 2025, the number of illegal content notices from or regarding EU users, categorized by the type of alleged illegal content concerned, and any action taken: 0
  • Pet parents can use Snuffle to search for walkers in their neighborhoods, browse walker profiles, and decide who to contact to arrange a potential booking for pet care. The order of walker profiles in search results is determined for each individual search, with the goal of surfacing walkers that are likely to be a good match for that specific request. Factors that are taken into account include location, accurate preferences and availability, profile quality, response rate and response time, booking cancellation history, and reviews and repeat clients. There is no set “ranking” or order of walkers. For example, two different pet parents in the same neighborhood might see a different set or order of walkers in search results based on their preferences and needs. That also means that if a pet parent does a sample search in their own neighborhood, their results may vary from what other pet parents see and may differ from day to day.
